What we can do for you at Peak Form Physiotherapy

Services We Offer

Physiotherapy

We assess, diagnosis, and treat the source of pain or injury using various manual therapy techniques, modalities (such as ultrasound, muscle stimulation, sports taping, acupuncture), and therapeutic exercises.

Massage Therapy

We offer various massage techniques including swedish massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, deep tissue, and sports massage which can treat muscular pain, stress, and tension in the body.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture can modulate abnormal activity of the circulatory, endocrine, immune, and peripheral nervous systems. Some therapeutic effects include pain relief, decreased muscle spasm, and stress relief.

Custom Bracing

Our team works with BREG to provide custom fit braces designed for sports, ligament stabilization, and management of arthritic pain. Custom braces are covered by most extended health plans.

Workplace Injuries

Physiotherapy may be covered by WSIB if your injury occurred at your workplace. Be sure to report your accident/injury to your workplace, as you will need a claim started through WSIB. If you know your claim number, we can help you determine what coverage you may be eligible for.

Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular rehabilitation can address symptoms such as vertigo, dizziness, spinning, nausea, lightheadedness or impaired balance due to an issue involving the vestibular system.

Sports Injuries

We use clinically validated treatments to help your body recover faster and stronger, getting you back to your sports sooner and with less risk of re-injury.

Pre/post Operative Rehabilitation

Pre-operative rehabilitation has been shown to decrease the recovery time and improve the outcomes of surgery. Our team will work with you to create a pre- and post-operative rehabilitation plan to help improve the success of your surgery and get you back to doing what you love.

Performance Optimization

Our team of movement specialists are well versed in many different sports including running, baseball, golf, swimming, soccer, and hockey. Ask about how we can help improve your performance through sport specific movement screens and functional strength/agility training.
